Portland, Maine (October 20 , 2016) – Jessica Govind and Catherine Miller attended the Kids First Center’s Annual Conference,  Keeping Kids Out of the Middle:  Evaluating, Intervening, and Adjudicating the Needs of Children Caught in the Middle of Their Parents’ Conflict.  The conference featured a keynote speaker, Dr. Benjamin Garber, Ph.D., a Child Psychologist, nationally renowned speaker and author.  The conference highlighted how co-parental conflict can cost children their childhoods and provided a broad overview of child development in the context of high conflict family dynamics.  Jessica and Catherine each acquire practical tools with which to more effectively and efficiently assess and adjudicate conflicted family dynamics, so as to help assure that their client’s children have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy childhood.
